Do you think I will be able to get into Columbia University?

Lol Ok so I'm pretty sure most people will say I can't but w/e, I'd just like to hear your opinion. I have applied on early decision to Columbia. I have a 3.1 overall GPA up to my junior year in high school, I just got a 4.0 my first quarter of senior year, my SAT score is an 1880, subject scores are 540 in U.S History, 620 in Lit., and 580 in Math 2. My personal essay is brilliant and I'm not just blowing hot air with that one. I've had a multitude of people check the essay including 5 of my teachers, friends, and college attending family members and they have all told me that the essay is great. I have over 300 hours of community service, I've played basketball all four years, including three of those years being on the varsity team, I'm president of Debate club, treasurer of California Scholarship Federation and treasurer of Art Club, member of anime and science club. So now let me know whether or not you think I can get admission into Columbia University.

Wow! I would be shocked if you didn’t get in. Good luck though, colleges are extremely picky. Nice job on the SAT, I’m taking mine in January. I’m aiming for at least a 1900, which I might be able to get thanks to my school offering SAT prep! I hope you get into Columbia, that’s where I want to go.

I’d be shocked if you got in. Everyone who gets in to Columbia pretty much has a 4.0 or near 4.0 GPA, and 700+ across the board on the SAT. They accept less than 10% of applicants. And those applicants are self-selected, meaning 3.0 students don’t even bother to apply, so they are not among the 90% rejected. 4.0 students make up the bulk of the 90% of applicants rejected.

I’m not as old as you, but heck, just shoot for it!
