Someone help me with my essay on the book the outsiders by se hinton?

Here it is and so fat i ahve a 28/36 on it :( My teacher told me to fix my grammar and add more, but I don't know what to add/fix!I have never been interested in reading. I would always make an attempt to pick out a book I thought looked good but I would read one page and close it. My teachers would always try to help me pick out a book, but I would never read it. Although books have never really been my thing, one novel I actually read and changed my life is "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. This book has a powerful message and it makes me want to keep reading. These are all qualities, in my opinion, of a good piece of literature. There are many powerful, life changing messages in "The Outsiders", don’t get me wrong, but there was one moral in this book that permanently changed me. That moral is behind mean stereotypes and harsh opinions is a person that you can end up being really close with. I must confess, before I read "The Outsiders" I was an extremely judgmental person. If someone was wearing something I didn’t like, I would complain about it. I totally regret being like this. After reading this book, I learned that you shouldn’t judge people by their hair style that day or what they are wearing. Maybe if you actually talked to that person they could end up being your best friend. In the story, Ponyboy was judged by the Socs because they never really got to know him. Because of a rivalry, he was never given a chance by the Socs to show how good of a person he was on the inside. When he was given a chance by Randy, friends with the person Johnny killed, they actually turned out becoming allies. They actually got to know each other and realized that they both have the negative feelings about the Socs-Greasers rivalry. Also, in the beginning of the story, Ponyboy thought the Socs were just a gang of snobby rich kids up to no good. But after talking to Cherry, a Soc, it came clear to him that both the Greasers and Socs aren’t the same and that just because a friend of yours is a bad person doesn’t mean you are.The book "The Outsiders" also made me want to keep reading. Each chapter was full of conflict that kept me very aroused and prevented me from closing the book. I especially liked how S.E. Hinton had the Greasers and the Socs have a rivalry. The relationship between the two gangs was so strongly divided that three people were killed. Also, every conflict that went on in each chapter had suspense and intensifying outcomes. For example, although the Greasers won the rumble, Ponyboy got injured and almost had a concussion. At this part I was not sure what was going to happen next, which made me not want to put the book down. This book also had many omnipotent quotes that made me want to keep reading. For example, a part that almost brought me to tears was the letter Johnny wrote to Ponyboy before he passed away. "Their lives are worth more than mine, they have more to live for" is one quote that showed me that Johnny was a really generous person and that the little kids' lives he died for are more important than his. This, in my opinion, really impressed me. After reading that I was positive that I wouldn't put the book down. The book "The Outsiders" is truly a tale of irony and makes you expect the unexpected. Not only did it teach me a lesson on why not to judge people, but it also showed me that there are books out there that I like. At first I had no hope in myself that I would never find that "just right book", but after reading "The Outsiders" my opinion on that changed. This book also has a powerful, life changing lesson and the power to make you want to keep reading. I promise you that if you read "The Outsiders" you would be extremely impressed on how much it can change your life.
