Chances of getting accepted into an IVY league college?





My scores for the Math, Language, Biology, and Physics SAT were all around 700, and I received a 9 on my essay. I've served 4 years of community service to the hospital, and I'm on the Varsity Tennis Team.     You are a very good student, but not at the level that the Ivy League schools are generally looking for. You would need a somewhat higher SAT score (I’ve heard a minimum of 2200, assuming perfect grades). Your GPA is excellent, but not perfect. Your extracurriculars are appropriate, but unless there are things you aren’t telling us, not spectacular. In general, you have a good opportunity to get into an excellent college, but I would be somewhat surprised to see you get into the Ivies.

    Most ivy league colleges only accept 12% or less of all applications. So you chance of getting in is slim. But still apply, just make sure to have back up colleges you apply to too.
